Container furniture is a functional and useful element in different areas of the house, here are some capacious and interesting designs
At home and in the office the space for storage is never too much and a piece of furniture with this function always proves useful to accommodate all our things. But what characteristics should it have? Surely it must be designed with care, both inside and outside. Because it must have an attractive design and therefore an interesting aspect but also an internal organization that helps us to keep the content in order. Shelves and drawers must be suitable for the objects they will accommodate, which is why, when choosing, it is a good idea to also take a look inside. Let’s not forget that the storage unit is also a support surface to be enhanced with decorative and functional objects: from crystal vases to table lamps. Here are some examples of storage units designed for the different rooms of the house: the living room, the dining area, the bedroom and the entrance are just a few examples.
Air sideboard by Daniele Lago for Lago
In the iconic Air collection by Lago we also find the sideboard, or rather, an evolution of this classic furniture in an “Air” key with the characteristic structural insert in tempered glass that seems to make the upper element of the cabinet float.
