The name Ex.T evokes a word “extraordinary” and the revolution that this company is pursuing in the bathroom furniture sector is, indeed, extraordinary. A conceptual, aesthetic and design revolution that favors the contemporary desire to give this environment a less technical and more comfortable, elegant and trendy look. Ex.T has an innovative vision but deeply rooted in its long production history, which began in 1945, when it was founded by Giulio Tanini. From the ten-year experience, the company has retained the artisan approach that it continues to use in its production sites in Tuscany. It is made in Italy in its fullest sense that combines the creative vision, entrusted to designers of international prestige, to the production tradition which, through the continuous updating of processes, is renewed to give voice to the changing needs of clients. The collections all share the intention of furnishing the bathroom with the same care and choice of materials that we usually apply to the living area, without, of course, forgetting the functional aspects. Nouveau collection by Bernhardt & Vella

The Art Deco style living room reinterpreted in a contemporary key is the concept conceived by the Bernhardt & Vella studio for the Nouveau collection, whose name is already a reference to the stylistic currents of the early twentieth century. The leitmotif is the juxtaposition of regular shapes that together generate new solutions. Of that style, the Nouveau collection retains the geometric elegance, giving the bathroom a cultured, minimal and refined aesthetic. Among the elements of this collection stand out the sink with its characteristic asymmetrical shape and the mirrors that make the bathroom even more precious.

Frame and Stand Collection by Norm Architects

The Norm studio is based in Copenhagen and it was precisely from the Danish approach to the project that combines rigorous aesthetics and functional harmony that it took inspiration for the Frame collection, winner of EDIDA 2017 for bathroom furnishings. Norm imagined a bathroom with an industrial but sophisticated style and from this came the idea of ​​a frame, in steel, which is the leitmotif of the collection. Frame is a modular system and this means that it can take on different configurations and sizes, adapting to small and large bathrooms. The same design studio also signs the Stand collection. It is inspired by the interior design of the 1920s and 1930s from which it recovers the presence of profiles and details in cast iron. Metal is combined with LivingTec® an innovative and high-performance material. Of particular visual impact is the sculptural bathtub of the collection, as well as the ethereal and minimal style washbasins.

Frieze collection by Mercante Testa

Frieze is not just a collection but a real approach to bathroom design. Inspired by the “Entablatures” series by pop artist Roy Lichtenstein, he freely takes up the horizontality of the decorative motif. With a wall band that can be of different heights and different colors, the space is scanned in a horizontal way. The washbasin is then applied to this band, also characterized by geometric lines of character.

Rest Collection by Norm Architects

The collections just mentioned are only a part of the Ex.T catalog, the company, as already mentioned, projects the elegance and comfort of a real living room onto the bathroom and to fully understand this approach it is useful to discover the Rest collection. This is a line of seats that could be suitable, in fact, for an elegant living room. But they are instead designed for the bathroom. Discrete and comfortable, they have a metal tubular structure and a black eco-leather or velvet upholstery in various colors.
