Founded in France in 1860, Ligne Roset<\/a><\/strong> is one of those brands that has built its identity through consistency: recognizing its classics, preserving them, and bringing them back into the present with the same strength they had at their inception. An attitude that, over time, has turned some of its pieces into absolute references in contemporary design. It is this vision that makes the third edition of the collaboration with Mohd meaningful – a partnership that goes beyond distribution and, year after year, confirms itself as a true design affinity between two entities that share the same respect for well-executed projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stepping into Via Filippo Turati 3<\/strong>, the space presents itself with Mohd\u2019s unmistakable attention to detail. On the right, two rooms are dedicated to Interior Reflections by Studiopepe, a project that finds its most complete expression at Mohd Officina Milano<\/strong> on Via Macchi 82<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the left, Ligne Roset occupies two distinct environments, each with its own identity and story to tell.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first room is the one that makes the strongest impression upon entry. A palette of deep browns, dark reds, and a slightly ochre-tinged Veronese green structures the space with precision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leather, velvet, and textured yarns create an environment that conveys comfort and sophistication without excess. At the center, Safi Marsala and ML 80: two reissues by Michel Ducaroy naturally take the stage, without needing emphasis. The setup, which Ligne Roset calls The Stinger, steps back: it lets the pieces speak, their proportions defining the space.<\/p>\n\n\n

The second room is dedicated to a special edition of Togo<\/strong>, the sofa designed by Michel Ducaroy that for over fifty years has been one of the most recognizable references in contemporary design. This version stems from a collaboration with BOSS<\/strong>: constructed with leather on the back and fabric on the front, it is offered in two color variations that interpret the same formal logic through different atmospheres: one warmer and more enveloping, the other more restrained and contemporary. The result is an object that carries the identity of both brands without either prevailing, where BOSS\u2019s impeccable tailoring meets the formal freedom that has made Togo inimitable. Available exclusively at Mohd until September, it is already one of the most talked-about pieces of design week.<\/p>\n\n\n

\u201cThis collaboration comes from the meeting of two brands that bring their know-how: BOSS\u2019s fashion expertise and our furniture knowledge with Togo, an iconic piece recognized by everyone.\u201d

But the real surprise of the evening wasn\u2019t on the walls or the floors. Olivier and Antoine Roset, the brand\u2019s two co-CEOs, were there among the guests, open and direct. For those who were able to meet them, exchange a few words, and ask questions they had held onto for years, it was an unexpected moment, difficult to replicate: the kind of access no catalog or campaign can ever provide. The physicality of a real encounter, in a real space, with those who have lived the brand from within for generations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leaving the space, what remains is not so much the memory of a specific product, but the feeling of having encountered a brand that knows exactly who it is. Ligne Roset does not chase the contemporary – it interprets it, with the solidity of over a century of design history behind it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

One question lingers perhaps the most important one: in an era where design is consumed quickly through seasonal launches, fleeting collaborations, and objects conceived more for screens than for life, what is the value of choosing to do things with care, with the awareness that a well-designed piece can span decades without losing meaning?
