Passion and innovation face each other, searching for lush and disruptive spaces
The iconic Flos brand, Italian ambassador of lighting design in the world, frames the rooms of Palazzo Grassi and its succession of history.
A brand which over time, has been increasingly able to blend emotions to a well-established history, made up of icons signed by designers like Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, Michael Anastassiades and other modern “archistars”.
The essence of modern design, in this creation, merges with a classic pomp, giving life to an evocative and eclectic environment.
A delicate endearing light choice with a highly aesthetic impact, outlines the rooms, marking the passage from above through the various corridors of those who are about to scrutinize the details of the building, guiding them to discover all the various environments.
The undisputed main lighting element is the custom made architectural lighting system “Palazzo Grassi Spot“, chosen for the project by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando by the Ferrara-Palladino lighting studio. Such choice, certainly communicates that Pinault’s desire with Flos, has been totally fullfilled.
