Kartell created Masters in 2010 from the fusion of three iconic chairs of modern design, giving rise to a new shape, an instant classic.
This year we decided to give it a new twist, choosing a tenuous colur and the classic silky finish. The result is an extraordinary success.
Masters was designed by Philippe Starck and Eugeni Quitllet, who brought together in a unique creation elements taken from the iconic Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen, the Eiffel Chair by Eames and the Tulip by Saarinen, in a blend of full and empty spaces that lean on the seat.
Thin and sinuous legs made the Master Chair a soft and comfortable solution, a stackable and functional seat, perfect for any setting.

We were not born today. We had some great predecessors. The Masters chair brings to mind the lines of three great masters and three great masterpieces. With them all together, they create a new product, a new project, a reflection of our new society.
