A lava stone structure and a barrel roof are the dominant peculiarities of a vast apartment located in the city center of Catania, the marvelous project for which Mohd has provided the furnishings and design accessories.
Mohd signs the sneak peek of a new proceeding project: the interior design of an ancient apartement in the historical city center of Catania, located on the third floor of an antique aristocratic building.
LineaT studio from Catania is the project leader in the renovation of the ambiences; in collaboration with them, Mohd’s Experts are in charge of selecting the furnishings and the design accessories.

Exploring the architecture of the apartement it is possible to appreciate a load bearing wall made of lavic stone and a barrel roof, and the location plan structure is a long corridor with a concatenation of environments. The new ambiences paint a continuum, a perception of openness, bridging together in a perfect spatial sequence.
The furnishings are the result of a meticulous selection, connecting all the living ambiences, intensifying the spatial perception, and implementing the light thanks to some gentle chromatic features.
Except for the pavements and the decorations of the vaults made of natural oak wood, every other suggested design element, including carpentry, is monochromatic. The only anomaly lies in the hints of colour provided by some pieces of furniture, such as the armchairs of the living and the bedrooms.
The interior ambiences are edged and defined by modern lines that bound the visual spaces and enhance their silhouette, blending with the curves of the vaults.
The charm of the architectural vaults is intensified by a diffused and continuous artificial lighting system. This intense, characterizing duo is further harmonized by the installation of some suspension lamps (Vibia Wireflow) and floor lamps (Vibia Warm), sharpening and brightening specific areas.
