From Vico Magistretti and Joe Colombo to Christophe Pillet’s contemporary lighting designs, Oluce’s outdoor lamps transform gardens, terraces, and open-air spaces into landscapes of light and character.
Throughout its history, Oluce has viewed light as a tool for shaping space. Today, that vision extends outdoors through collections that bring the luminous quality and refinement of interior environments into gardens, terraces, and open-air settings. Spanning different eras, design languages, and authors, these lamps rethink the relationship between light, architecture, and nature, transforming the landscape into a space to be experienced and inhabited.
Among the most notable additions, Berlin-Out by Christophe Pillet expands the Berlin collection with a family of lamps designed for terraces, gardens, and hospitality environments. Its distinctive adjustable light source is paired with rigorously proportioned stems and shades, creating an elegant yet understated presence. New finishes, ranging from total ivory to a combination of black and English green, further enhance the collection’s timeless appeal.
The dialogue between design heritage and contemporary living emerges in the outdoor reissue of Lyndon. Originally designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, it retains the essence of its iconic candelabra-inspired structure, now available in floor, wall, and table versions. The luminous spheres enclosed within the metal frame embody the balance of simplicity and recognizability that defines the work of the Milanese master.
longside these icons, other designs explore outdoor living through contemporary sensibilities. Otto by Federica Farina directs light with precision thanks to its adjustable head, transforming a pathway light into a dynamic architectural element. Amanita by Mariana Pellegrino Soto evolves from a reading lamp into a refined presence for gardens and public spaces, while Stones by Marta Laudani & Marco Romanelli translates nature’s softened forms into luminous volumes that diffuse a warm, enveloping glow.
Completing the narrative, Fresnel by Joe Colombo remains as relevant today as ever. Its iconic lens takes centre stage in a design that continues to demonstrate how essentiality, innovation, and functionality can coexist in perfect balance.
Through these collections, Oluce brings more than seventy years of design culture outdoors, transforming light into a medium that creates atmosphere, guides perception, and gives identity to space.
