Poliform: inhabiting Piazza della Scala

27 April 2026

Between Piazza della Scala and Palazzo Clerici, Poliform constructs a distributed presence that brings together architecture, collection and installation into a coherent vision of contemporary living.

Not a single place, but a system. During Design Week 2026, Poliform articulates its presence between the new flagship in the cultural heart of the city and the installation “Multitude”, turning Milan into a continuous narrative device.

The new flagship store in Piazza della Scala marks a key transition. Set within a historic building, the multi-level space operates through reduction: natural materials, calibrated volumes, visual relationships with the city. More than a showroom, it becomes an environment that defines a measure of living, where living, dining and night areas interact with fluid coherence.

A few minutes away, Palazzo Clerici activates a second register. With “Multitude”, curated by studioutte, the courtyard becomes an abstract landscape: a rhythmic sequence of vertical elements outlines a kind of artificial forest, shaped by light, reflections and dark surfaces.

Here, the outdoor collection appears as a suspended presence, never fully revealed, part of a perceptual rather than purely exhibitive experience.

Inside, the 2026 collection unfolds as a continuous whole, with contributions by Jean-Marie Massaud, Emmanuel Gallina, studioutte and Yabu Pushelberg.

From the Harp kitchen, shifting between architectural dimension and everyday use, to the living and dining system with Concorde and Victoria by Emmanuel Gallina, up to the living area defined by the Savoy sofa by Jean-Marie Massaud, a shared grammar emerges, based on proportion, comfort and formal control.
The new lamps by studioutte further expand this vision, introducing light as an element that connects space, material and atmosphere. Night systems such as Senzafine reinforce this idea of adaptability and coherence.

Between flagship and installation, Poliform constructs a unified vision, where each space, product and atmosphere contributes to defining a precise idea of contemporaneity: measured, continuous, deeply integrated with the city.
