During Design Week 2026, Baxter shapes a narrative between Baxter Cinema, an urban tram and Casa sul Lago, where collection and experience converge in a continuous, sensory vision of living.
Baxter unfolds its presence across Milan through different places and formats, transforming the city and the domestic project into a single narrative system. The new collection confirms a vision of living that is sensual, material-driven and deeply scenographic.
Within Baxter Cinema, the Milan flagship created inside a former 1970s multiplex, the brand presents an immersive journey where leather, marble, metals and generous volumes engage with the architecture of the space, turning the visit into an emotional as well as exhibition experience.
Among the novelties, the Viktor Soft sofa by Draga & Aurel stands out, an evolution of Baxter’s 1970s lounge language: seating with welcoming proportions, defined by soft lines and comfort calibrated with sartorial precision. Alongside it, Chicago by Paola Navone reinterprets the imagery of urban America with a stronger, more structured presence, while retaining the effortless elegance that defines the brand.
Materiality emerges strongly in the Tile side tables by Draga & Aurel, where surfaces and geometries create a refined balance between architectural rigor and domestic warmth. More discreet yet equally sophisticated is Syd, a furnishing piece designed for audio systems and conceived to integrate naturally into contemporary interiors through precise details and a pronounced tactile sensibility. Each element is conceived not as an isolated object, but as part of a coherent landscape.
At the same time, Baxter renews Casa sul Lago, a project that transforms each year while remaining true to its identity. Not a simple product showcase, but a manifesto home where the brand composes complete interiors, atmospheres and relationships between furniture, light and architecture.
For 2026, the vision expands further with The Baxter Journey MDW26: a historic Milan tram becomes an immersive, bespoke space, bringing the Baxter language into the city and into the rhythm of design week itself.
Baxter’s new collection thus asserts itself as a statement of style: an invitation to inhabit interiors that are intense, sophisticated and free from convention.
